In the meantime, I've figured out who's had their greasy mitts all over the SP for the past year.

@gimo211, @Heskumdai, @invertedva, and anyone else who's had a gutful.

I recently posted about the first-time appearance of a UBS Nominees account in our top 20 (post-CR) which, funnily enough, coincided with the large drop in shorting activity.

I mentioned that a UBS Nominees account was in the WGO top 20 in June 2021, with the same account having a much larger holding by the time of the release of the 2021 WGO annual report:

I eventually got the bright idea of checking WGO announcements in that period for any substantial holder notices (I have never held WGO so I don't follow it closely).

Lo and behold:

Have a look at the registered holders. It's been Regal all along.

CS Third Nominees has been in and out of our top 20 for a while, their most recent appearance being in March this year with 11.5 million shares. This account would have soaked up more of the shares from the CR.

Regal's substantial holder notice came out one month after STX became a substantial holder in WGO.
