Thanks @deb , would see a whole lot fairer for existing share holders to receive dividend after all they're the ones supporting the company by holding share's in the company . Maybe it does make sense somehow seems grossly unfair to holders who already hold shares a stock especially Mayne where many of us lost thousands of dollars (stuck) and would like at least a decent dividend not have to share dividend with opportunists chasing dividends . Not surprising share price in stocks collapsing after dividend paid .
