"Politics SHOULD not have a bearing on the future of Gunns"
But I assume you are OK with the politians deciding (after polital pressure from Gunns) to withdraw the pulp mill from the usual assessment process and send it though a fast track and far less rigorous assessment?
Can't have your cake and eat it too.
And when you say the mill was approved by two goverments...well the Feds only have a very narrow scope of what they are allowed to assess. The rest is up to the state assesment and nothing the feds can do about it. And as I pointed out above it was far from properly assessed at the state level...
Anyway as you were.
