I remember the problems orecobre had trying to produce battery quality product and sorting out brine issues, it takes time , then pls (although is spodumene) took them time to sort out there flotation circuit , all new lithium mines will go through these unexpected delays, as you say industry treats lithium as just another mine without factoring in the technical proprietary knowledge that takes time to develop, those that are producing have a big advantage
