There's nothing to stop you from raising a director's past record by presenting the facts, just have to be careful not to get involved in too much interpretation, name calling etc.
As an occasional "downramper", I agree its tough enough to have to cop the abuse from aggressive posters without restrictions being placed on what you can say. It certainly doesn't run the other way. No-one gets sued for being overly complementary about a company (ramping), though this form of dishonesty is the real cause of people losing money in scams. Stick to the facts and "fair comment" (which covers the kinds of opinions analysts express) and there shouldn't be a problem though.
