I do have some concerns over this one-size-fits-all approach, especially in the area of "best practice" or cost efficient". Australia is a big place.
I mentioned in one of my earlier postings today in this thread that there was a very good discussion on the 7.30 Report last night.
I am sure in the months ahead such details will be worked through.
We are not just talking about the funding aspects. There is also this new structure: how that will work in practice, and will the private hospitals system fit into it.
