Re ,"What makes the "I stand with Ukraine" version of the Twitter mob unique is that it brings together two forces that used to be sworn enemies of one another—the woke Left and the neoconservative Right. It turns out they share many of the same loathsome ideological and personality traits, and have a similar "slash and burn" approach to political engagement. It's a new political marriage."

I notice the above comments in the article you've sent. It is a "mob". No individual in that mob would want what they're pushing to happen, but the collective hive mind is hard to fight against. I want an independent Ukraine but they can't be independent if they sell their "safety" to the devil.

I don't understand Putin, I imagine he is evil, but he described US foreign policy for the last 80 years perfectly. No other leader has made it clearer, the lies of the past 80 years and the crap some nations have endured as a consequence of those lies. Who is this evil murderous group that they can hide behind claims of bringing freedom and democracy whilst they destroy or imprison everything that opposes them?

They may not be satanic, but they are pretty close, and pro Ukrainian "Putin bad man" supporters should at least know that much about the group they think are their saviours.
