So how I see it ... in every interview we are being given a new clue or two that suggests that behind the scenes ... things are hotting up. For example ... no longer are we having discussions with other fabs ... we're having discussions with "big fabs with customers" ... ones than play in the 28nm and under space. In other words ... standby for a Tier 1 company to be the next fab to sign up with WBT.
Then there's the reference made recently to how good the results from Leti's qualification are looking and that the process will be completed before the end of the year ... (which can mean any day now given most of their technical milestones have been achieved ahead of schedule) ... which I think is a hint that the results are being eagerly awaited on by potential customers and fabs not wishing to wait till SkyWaters' qualification is complete before signing up.
Then there's the recent Linkedin post in which he thanked shareholders and said the last 5 years have seen amazing progress ... however nothing compared to what we're going to see in the next five years.
Also look at the article on their website re the PMIC market that justchillin5 posted the link to earlier today. Given all the boxes WBT ticks it seems the company is in the box seat to be the major player in this space.
The fact that the ASX in general doesn't understand the value of a company like WBT is in fact understandable. Companies like WBT and BRN need to operate in stealth mode because of the NDA's they have in place with companies trialing their game changing products ... so those that take time to do extensive research invariably have a better understanding of what might be happening behind the scenes and can take advantage of a depressed share price in the absence of any revenue generating news.
However that will will change in a heartbeat when a major revenue generating announcement lands ... and I for one sleep soundly knowing that when such an announcement lands (and we certainly have had enough clues to suggest one is coming) I am well set and hold many more shares by getting in early than I would by buying shares post such an announcement. I can't even imagine what the share price will be if the likes of a GlobalFoundries or Intel signs on ... let alone a household name end-user customer.
Buffet often extols the virtue of patience when it comes to investing. Well if ever there is a stock that will reward patience ... I believe it's WBT.

Not financial advice ... my opinion only.
