Ukraine is a must win lest Putin expose the weak underbelly to his near neighbours - all this hop ha about the US and NATO is a red herring though posters here seem to be dogmatically stuck in this lane. Don’t forget Turkey seeing their opportunity grow by the day. Central Asian influence and credibility for Russia fading fast as China ramps up engagement in the area.

The real threat to Russia is Turkey and China first dicing up Central Asia between themselves and then chipping away at the motherland until a final confrontation emerges. With a population in freefall both china and Russia are highly incentivised. Russias resources are a
perfect match for what china needs. On display right now for Turkey and China are weaknesses to exploit in due time. They’re watching and learning.
