Thanks for the feedback. Imho there is a deliberate attempt by certain individuals and I believe groups to manipulate stocks for their own benefit. Either by being overly optimistic or overly pessimistic. Quite often they work in together on stocks percieved to be "speccies" and therefore easily manipulated. We have seen this many times at the beginning of 2010. If you look hard enough you will find these names popping up on stocks that have been pumped and dumped in a matter of hours or a few days. Personally I think it is a despicable act. By all means trade or go long but don't manipulate others in doing so and I certainly don't want to see this happen to ssn. As of thursday we were getting "new faces" commenting on ssn that this could be great for wealth creation (my words) or I will wait to buy in cheaper (my words). This creates a sense or euphoria or despair. Quite often both and leaves people feeling unsure as to what to do. It is easy to say dyor but many people are trusting and do panic when they see posts like this. The end result is "an attempt" at stock manipulation but I honestly don't see ssn as a speccie that can be easily manipulted.

On ssn. I don't believe any of us saw yesterday's announcement coming. Let alone a positive one at that. It certainly reinforces my belief this company and management are doing all they can to establish ssn as a mid tier oil and gas producer. For those who keep saying no announcements soon we got a left field one yesterday. The company done a presentation to welthy U.S individuals and private equity firms a week or two back. From the presentation, I believe the goal is to clear their debt sooner than later. This may or may not spark interest next week. For now it is all speculation as I believe ssn management are doing an excellent job at playing their cards close to their chest until an announcement is ready to be put out. Sorry for ranting Photios and others who bothered to read my post. Looking forward to an exciting few months ahead.
