Italy, Germany and France are MiC powerhouses, but seem to be holding back. Germany has done a complete 180 in terms of its foreign policy so they were always going to be behind the 8ball (a lot of their older equipment wasn't in the best shape either as they went unused for such a long time).

France and Italy are the ones who are really interesting, more than what Canada could bring. Canada bring a lot of diplomatic weight for the Ukrainian side of the argument. But France and Italy have formidable MiC, so they could have been hedging their bets earlier on the war, and is probably part of the reason Ukraine went on the counter-offensive a bit earlier than most expected.
