100%, Came to that conclusion a while ago. inflow of battery metals Capex needed in the industry will come straight from carmakers. Miners had their chance but they're too unloved by general market to risk miss timing a cycle. On the other hand car manufactures all recognise their importance (I work for one its a big talking point in the industry), see the upcoming shortage and have the funds to develop the assets for when they'll need the product unlike BHP ect worrying about when the market will need the product.
