Well there was good news on the jobs front in the US on Friday, and the Greek Government approved a new set of austerity measures to cut its debt which rallied the US & Euro markets. [Source: cnnmoney.com and bbc.co.uk]

The DJIA Index finished the session: Up 122.06 pts; and
The SPI Futures are currently: Up 65 pts.

There are no market moving indicators or reports that merit extra attention on either the US or Australian economic calendars today.

Gold is Up $1.90 atm and is currently sitting at $1,134.40/oz (Kitco); Oil is Up $1.29 to $81.50/barrel (NYMEX/Bloomberg); and the AUD/USD is currently trading at 0.9095 cents (Forex. Live).
