Realistically, Australia isn't going to see nuclear energy any time in the foreseeable future. The ALP is balls deep in with the Greens, who are blindly anti-nuclear, and the Libs are basically owned by Big Coal.
So there's no political will from either of the big parties, and Australians are collectively too stupid to figure out that pro-nuclear minor parties like the LibDems are a credible alternative.
