Good thing could be that the more frequent these reviews are irlt could be a metric to measure more use. For every one of these there would be 100 that went well.
It is hard to make a judgement on this as the user writing the post most likely does not have an understanding of the product and the complaint is also very limited in information that is helpful to anyone.
For example...Is he saying they overcharged him? (doesnt really sound like it?) Is he saying money is still held and not released by bank which he is not expected tocfully understand without in depth knowledge of product function? (yesterdays discussion of delay in bank releases having effect as seeming to be a double charge) Is he saying it keeps holding and charging funds (which is exactly how splitit works) Which therefore has a charge amount and hold amount appearing on his statement which he may be confusing as multiple charges in a week.(There will be a charge and a hold in 2 different lines on his account statement under normal function)
Who knows. Most poor reviews also have poor information for anyone to really use to asses the product for themselves and are used as a vent by most people. Alot of people that get easily outraged generally have a different understanding or expectation of what is normal aswell, so that further skews bad reviews.
Definately something they need to work on and with more use there will be increasing numbers of these. The seamless transactions where leople understood and followed the guidelines (twice available credit available) dont result in a positive review to balance these out.
I actually suspect a few of the positive reviews are planted. There is no balance in allowing people to review a product they dont understand when rushing into at the checkout seamlessly. Always will be more negative rewiews.
