The markets are full of games, look at the US overnight, Futures were pointing to a 2.5% drop on open, then once market opened it shot up to close at 5% higher than the open price, I think the data gave them a shock and they were still stuck in the market so best to push it up to suck more buyers in to sell too, Christmas perion be an interesting one and would like to see our spending spree over that period, they are forcasting a bumper Christmas spend! I don't understand how they can predict that unless shoppers are already committed with deposits, all coms down to rates and increases in morgage repayments as they take time to filter through after every RBA increase.
