Telstra isnt, and has never been a "normal company". We all would like to believe that it has been, to the point of denial even. But from its floating to its present day it has been a tool of Government of both leading parties. Applying normal analysis tools is fraught with dangers. I still have large parcels I brought back in 1997, they have been nice little dividend streams. The current SP has attracted me back to being a buyer and as someone said in a previous post buying now allows my avg. purchase price to look nicer. I have dropped my current bid to 2.87 (expires on the 12/3)... which checking the current SP looks like it maybe filled tomorrow. Telsta isnt a trade that I apply stops to, however I will probably move to hold untill some to the promises and theaths disapiate.
