cheers DM.... I didn't get back to you on this till an uptick on a post above led me to read this reply. it was good to see your derision vaporise. thanks for that.

on the contrary, the versatility of battery powered mobility increases the range of options.... look at e-scooters, bikes and buggies.... the current price range isn't going to last as prices are always high when a new tech is introduced and reduces rapidly after the competition builds.

think CD players and other e-tech.

Do you recall the early digital watches? high class stuff at first and cost a whack until the tech was picked up by Taiwan (which made crap at first) which then made watches cheap and disposable. small batteries became to norm and look how this enriched the development of further ideas using tiny batteries.

ICEs don't need to be "banned". its not a Gov decision really. manufacturers have all made the business decision to transition to EVs. this is unlikely to change back to ICE, though there'll probably be some makers of ICE as boutique vehicles eventually.

so haven't you read all this stuff elsewhere? as I have.

surely you don't only read the right wingtipper sites which feed you loads of disinformation?
