We need at least another 8-18 months before we see a recovery.
this hypothesis is based on that when oil tips $100USD/barrel usually a recession follows 12 months after that date.
we have about 4-5 months before we reach that 12 month milestone, then you need about 6 months to unfold before a recovery.
same thing with what happened in peru back in 1989 where inflation was +1,000% but then recovered the following year.
different country but the theme looks to be consistent and if history is a gateway to what is on the horizon, asset prices will recover and the market will catch up over the next 8-18 month span.
