Thanks Mayo for posting the MS report. Interesting. Seems to be a consensus among brokers that the dividend should rise markedly over the next two years as meaningful investment income returns. Not quite sure I fully share that view, the new CEO seems the cautious type to me (thank goodness!) who will be keen to not pay out too strongly. Still, the dividend is likely going up substantially, and if so, QBE may be good buying at these levels. So far, the share price hasn’t reacted much to the newly elevated bond rates, I suspect simply because stock investment sentiment generally has been so poor. When sentiment turns, the QBE share price could be among the more substantial beneficiaries.
