The problem with that strategy as I have found out the hard way multiple times is that by the time you are buying back because "things look better" the price has bounced higher than when you sold it in which case you would have been better holding.
Of course buying parcels on the way down is a better strategy.... making the big assumption of course it will rebound at some point. If you think the company is dead then sell out and stay out in my non-expert opinion.
