Absolutely correct, but today was the inevitable end of this Turkey Shoot, IMO. Infact in the timeframe you have mentioned there have been 3 separate campaigns of shorting and then closing out cheaper. Each of these periods is defined by the benign residue short of 763407 shares. Unfortunately, this cannot be confirmed until ASIC releases the aggregate short sale for PAN on this cycle.
I am sure the T/A's will make up some rubbish about the price action but welcome to the real world where Warwick Rules.
