    Both worth a look Wasa.

AOI fit within my portfolio of East African interests, with their focus being on the Horn of Africa. They operate in Ethiopia, Kenya and Somalia. They are in a JV with CNOOC in Kenya on Block 9 (permit with the Boghal-1 well currently being drilled). In Ethiopa they are directly adjacent to Petronas, who have discovered significant quantities of gas in the Ogaden basin (~4 TCF). Then there's Somalia where AoI are in a JV with Range Resources (ASX:RRS). They are currently trying to farm-out their interest to bring a major on board.

Then the success of the management team will be music to anyones ears. They really know how to turn a speccie into a shining star:
    Tanganyika:
    2002 - $13.5 million
    2008 - Sold to Sinopec $1.3 billion
    Valkyries:
    2002 - $4 million
    2006 - Sold to Lundin $750 million
    Lundin:
    2002 - $101 million
    Present - $2.95 billion

Take a look at their Jan 2010 preso if your interested.
