Remember all the fearmongering about how all these projects are not going to go ahead? How things can change in a few short months.
First Arrow is in the sights. Now AGL's holdings.
And ESG is "open for discussions". What is the bet that DC is already having 'discussions' in Houston, under the guise of making a presentation?
Well, as predicted, the second big grab for gas has well and truly begun.
There is competitive tension between the projects, all of whom want to improve their economics by getting better scales of economy.
And Santos is looking increasingly isolated. I just love the irony of David Knox calling for the need for consolidation in the sector.
Well, everyone is hooking up with a dance partner. But David's dance card hasn't been filled :(
If I was a Santos shareholder, I would be bombarding them with demands to know what the heck is going on. Are they going to be left at the alter, again..? "We are not going to make the same mistake twice", they say. Instead, this time, they are going to make a DIFFERENT mistake! In both cases, they are going to miss out on the prize.
