back of the envelope (post pdl's & ppt's qtrly fum releases today):
MFG HAS LOST A REAL -23% IN THE QTR (NET OF FX), 12% BEING CLIENT FLOWS!!!. It has lost 7bn in MKT movement on almost HALF the FUM of the PPT & PDL!!!
SCARY.....
Looks like PPT performed the best, FUM barely moving in the whole quarter!!!
MFG lost approx $14.4bn net of FX....thats MORE THAN THE COMBINED PPT & PDL LOSS ON TWICE THE FUM EACH!!!
now....lets look at mkt caps:
MFG worth 1.5 times PPT.....
as pauline would say - please explain!!!!
