Honestly very hard to ascertain that likelihood.
I think I probably have around 20-25 REO watchlisted stocks with REO discovered in clays.
4 have proven them to be ionic. (At varying degrees)
1 has proven them to be economical.

Though - what i will say is that out of the 20-25 i have watchlisted more than half are not economical based on the geology - and therefore shouldn't waste time doing met work (IMO).

Even the classification of ionic isn't exactly cut and dry.
You can have some ionic material present - but maybe very little and maybe it's the lower grade or at depth stuff.
You can have a large portion ionic - but may the recoveries are still awful and don't improve with acid dose.

the leach test with neutral PH is the sniff test to really understand how the product will beneficiate.
it's the first and IMO only useful met test to understand whether the material will have not only a simple process flow sheet but low acid dosing requirements (and therefore not economical suicide to run).

I'll keep watch and pop in if anything stands out for me. If the met work comes back solid not only will i commend the team i will invest.

If it's not ionic, or low ionic portion, or recoveries are awful then unfortunately likely in the basket with 99% of others who's lithology could loosely be defined as having anomalous REO values in weathered laterites.

I've only invested in one other company prior to met results - and it was done so based on the back of a phonecall direct to the MD whereby i questioned what they had found and what tests they were going to do.

Post #:57996587 is me suggesting i'd speak to them and ask them some things.
Post #:58007264 contains the detailed rundown of the discussion i had with them (as a non holder still) - this is actually a quite comprehensive rundown for what good looks like in the early phase and what you'd want a team to be doing.

If no one else calls the team in the next week I can - but a disclaimer, i've done that before and the convo hasn't went well. But i've watched the video's they seem reasonable - still using terminology like "ionic style" etc which irks me personally - but sure. Also; anyone here as an investor should ask there own questions and get their own answers and formulate their own opinions. Honestly - even if you only own a couple thousand in stock, you've got a right to call and you'll be surprised how accommodating management usually are. If they don't give you the time of day and the stock isn't going anywhere - maybe not a great people to run the company.

If directors don't speak to me or don't want to speak to me - i don't invest or significantly reduce my exposure.

If anyone calls them i'd be asking the parameters of leach/met work happening now and the contingency plan if it's not or low ionic material.

That question would tell me a lot about the company, the directors and the strategy.
