This is a classic example of "filling the gap". There are some that swears by the rule that gaps up must be a least partially filled before the run can continue (in 80% of cases). I was a sceptic of the rule initially but I have seen it to be true so many times that I am a bit of a convert. It was only a small gap but sure enough it got filled. Closed at 3.53 high on friday and had a 3.57 low on Monday. A tiny gap but if the rule is true then it must trade at around 3.54 before the run can continue .....incredible but there you go, the gap was filled today with a low of 3.52.

Looking back through the chart It has happened every single time BRM has had a gap up.
