AJL have been clever/prudent to use the possible change in Govt policy to raise $19m. The chances of AJL ever seeing 1 pound of revenue from the gas would have to be slim. The one group that hates fracking are the tory landowners in the shires. The chance of the new PM supporting this over Nth Sea gas (i.e HHR) are remote based on pre-Truss history. Then even if all goes well and gas is produced you run up against a new Govt in two years time..if not sooner.They will shut it all down .You may of course get compensation but that's a wee bit off yet.
However AJL with its cash is starting to look reasonable.
