Back in May 2020 the Central Bank of Kansas City was CCA’s first banking partner on the old software platform. CBKC also invested $250,000 in Change.

The prepaid card they launched was called UpChange. That card program was shut down in November 2021. I don’t the reason for shut down of that card program, maybe they didn’t reach a large enough scale during all of Covid issues.
The UpChange website only has the following message.
“The UpChange Prepaid Mastercard® programhas been closed as of November 25, 2021. If you have any questions regardingyour card, please contact [email protected]. “
I guess it’s good to see they still list CBKC on the Change website as a banking partner. Maybe they will get another card program with CBKC that uses the new Vertexon processing platform at some point.
