Why hasn't Ezcorp taken us out yet? They've showed that CCV is an attractive investment by using the creep provisions and buying on mkt at 24-25c back in April this year.
CCV is trading at price to book of 48c or stripping out intangibles at 76c in the dollar. CCV PE is 7x vs Ezcorp at 11x. CCV pays a cash divi of 8.3%, Ezcorp pays 0%.
and has Ezcorp stated in their Sep investor presentation they "Ample liquidity to fund PLO, de novostores, inorganic growth opportunitiesand share repurchase program".
The A$ has gone from 75c to 62c since the last time Ezcorp bought CCV shares so its now 18% cheaper. An acquisition now just makes so much sense on so many levels from Ezcorp's position, what are they waiting for?
I'm sick of seeing this stock struggle anything past 25c so I would be more than happy with 35c takeover from Ezcorp.
