Ann: UK Government lifts moratorium on hydraulic fracturing, page-122

I live in the UK and things have taken a decided turn for the worse recently. Truss is now out after a messy vote in Parliament on lifting the fracking ban - there is still a lot of opppositon to fracking. On top of this we have the lunatic fringe groups 'Extinction Rebellion' and 'Just Stop Oil' glueing themselves to motorways to stop traffic while the police offer assistance. We have impossible and silly 'net zero' targets, but meanwhile we are out of gas and prices are already through the roof while politicians run round in circles. 'Cuadrilla' is referred to on the TV as if it is top of the hate list. I can't see fracking starting again any time soon. It may depend on who takes over from Truss but the front runner Rishi Sunak is not a particular enthusiast although he is unusually sensible.
