MT/Talga is outspokenly averse to share dilution. Where's the harm in raising more? I think the answer to that is raising more than they need = unnecessary dilution. When TLG say they need $30m I trust they genuinely need $30m, and if they needed $40m they would have asked for $40m.
IMO it's likely this was the last cap raise for retail shareholders. Assuming no huge delays the next big milestones (permits, and more off-takes) will be the gateway towards major capex financing that will carry the company to revenue and eventually profit.
