Look, we know already that you're a man with a mission - and this has nothing to do with understanding INA or any other retirement stock, neither from a investor nor from a consumer perspective.
Otherwise you would compare service quality and service costs - and look as well how INA is doing compared to some other retirement stocks (say OCA or RYM).
Here is some news for you ... INA comes out in a 2 year comparison by roughly 20% better than the both other big players I mentioned.
And here is another news: The share price weakness has nothing to do with annual cost increase ... all three have occupancy rates ways in the high 90%.
Yes, the retirement industry is currently somewhat soft ... and the reasons for that are easy to see for anybody using the grey matter between their ears: Dropping real estate prices (making it more difficult for people to buy in), high interest rates (limiting access to capital), difficulties to get staff (and the need to pay them higher to get anybody), and increased costs due to Covid.
The problem is not too high fees, but too high cost.
Quite different issue, isn't it?
