Hard to say. In some hospitals a sign is posted in various locations which has a message in 23 different languages. "If you need assistance an interpreter will be provided" seems to be the message on some of those posters. Posters like this:

Interpreting in this country must be a big industry - wonder if any jury member asked for an interpreter to interpret "reasonable doubt"? Hmmm, poor accused!
