I just jumped on the Samson site and did some research for the North Dakota stockyard field and it seems that Harstad#1-5 well that was drilled a while back produces 90-100 barrels of oil.
The next well, the Leaonard 1-23 well was drilled deeper after a first target depth didn't satisfy and farmin parners wanting to test the Brakken formation with a 6000 horizontal leg.
This is the bit i like, Details of the well are currently being held tight, but early indications look positive.
11 more wells are planned to be drilled if positive results come. So this brakken formation sounds like the real thing.
i'm glad i am onboard with this one know. And after the other posts this morning about the brakken formation it has a good feel.
