And therein is one of the major problems. Big business, the King over all Governments, needs immigration, because they can’t (wth), or more importantly won’t hire local labour at the rates required. And Governments let them. That’s bad immigration.
Also, we need to bolster industry so that we are not just a service provider nation. Deindustrialization has happened to the detriment of Aus, courtesy in the main of Conservatism. We now need to re-industrialise. How do we manage all of that? What do we aim for? Do we have any plans?
The answer is no, not currently. LNP have been a disaster for this country, minus a lucky few. Now it’s coming to an end and everybody is looking around for what’s next!
We need good immigration, targeted planning for industry and yes, affordable housing. By all Governments.
