They ran a single Wireline log to confirm the LWD was indicating hydrocarbons in the 200 horizon. It came back indicating low quality formation with possible HCs, that would require a formation pressure testing piece of kit that is not available. This tool would have to sit stationary on the side of the wall to suck a small formation fluid sample. This has a very high chance of getting stuck and requiring fishing with drill pipe, significantly increasing time and risking the remaining hole section. Decided to not risk getting the tool stuck so leave a few unanswered questions and take the data for another swipe at this secondary target in a better location. For me this is very encouraging (active charge, seismic is looking reliable for predicting hydrocarbons and the seal for the primary targets is looking very thick) I am looking forward to the primary targets which is what I came for in the first place.
