I sold out after buying at $28.

CBA and WBC are making me especially nervous because of their exposure to the home lending market.

Way too many people that already had big debt (with credit cards and car loans and no savings) have taken up the First Home Owners grant and borrowed eye-popping sums of money for homes at record prices.

Their cash flow is being ravaged by only a few interest rate rises because they have to manage their other debts too. This does not bode for CBA/WBC.

Just a few more interest rate rises and I think we could see a wave of defaults from these almost sub-prime borrowers (I call them almost sub-prime because they have no assets, no savings but do have a job).
