Hi Bizzo,
As with any loading bay a 1.5 extra back height is needed to load. I will try and find a picture/link of a 50T elphi (if I recall the make) used in a US Mine about 4 yrs ago, they had a purpose built truck and stretched the tub by 1.5 mtrs, fitted low profile tyres, removed the hungry board and the cab height was 3.8mtrs of the ground at its highest point. I guess if you have the money you can get anything purposely designed these days. Maybe a 30 or 40T is the way?
Maybe to go to the other end of the scale, they could use a Single Boom Jumbo thats 1.5H X 1.2W and remote controlled if needed, it can only advance 1.6mts a cut but would do well in level development.
