MP is rebuilding from the ground up. Just read a few of their last Q reports. They still have 2 of the 3 GE turbines to produce Electric. They have a totally dry process vs Lynas wet process. Almost all water and reagents are recycled. Now this process is expensive, Uses lots of ELEC. But the GE turbines are designed to use RAW NG which they have a line from the major NG line that goes from Colorado to CA. Thus they providing very low cost electric. All the heat for Plant is waste heat of the turbines. This even includes C&L which needs lots of heat energy.

It is how funny how many People on this board do not stay up to date, I recently saw several posts that said without PM generators, Wind turbines needed Transmissions which has not been true for years. The very same technology that eliminated Transmissions for PM Generators also eliminated it for non PM generators. PM technology and solid state technology that allowed generator to run asynchronous to the line frequency just happened at the same time.
