yes I agree with you UT....
but there are some places that are safe.....you know the larger centres on the freeways between melb, adelaide, sydney and brissy
they have a big travel thru overnight trade, and tourism to keep them going....with the usual assortment of business to support same....motels, freight etc
I have props in Albury.....
but those same centres being inland have been hit by the big drought of the past 15 years...drought is now broken....or almost....
these larger centres also support a surrounding community of up to 200 klms radius...
there is always a shortage of tradesmen.....so the kids can go there, if they have a trade, and they will make a motza running their own businesses...or being in demand by employers...
finance people....well almost anyone can get jobs there...
all the major national retailers and companies are in there
the cockies are the ones who bring in the cream when there is no drought.....farm labor and materials etc in high demand
and the cockies bring a sobering affect when there is a drought.....
houses can be bought for under 300k's or over 500ks thats the choice
so if the kids are really looking for bargains...they can find them here in oz....
