IMO This is suggestive on a "dome like" trap structure with high grade copper zone relatively near surface and adjacent to the NPF contact, This is great news as this adds thickness, grade bulk and tonnage to this deposit nearer to the surface (and potentially increases the highest 2-5%Cu high grade tonnage material significantly).

I think the Cobre KCB assays to date, have matched the XRF quite well, personally. The SP got ahead of itself with a large fund buying 5% early on and then another seed investor trimming... but it will catch up, especially if there's a big fat parasynthetic fold blob of bornite rich material stretching 2km - that's decent.

The core image is quite important... See the purple peacock colours in the x10 fine grain image ... that's likely to be bornite ie 60% copper. The green is Malachite also stinking high grade.

in terms of tonnage we don't know the lateral extent of this yet ... but say roughly that folded 'blob' is 30m x 40m x 2 km long - that's 2.4million m3 = 6.2MT potentially, plus the rest of the high grade zone above and below. That's IMO starting to stack up towards potentially 10-15MT deposit of the highest grade material. Needs much more drilling support to prove up that level of potential with any confidence, but we know the KCB has some decent consistency and reasonable continuity generally.
