I've just run the numbers, I have NHC sitting on $1.7bil worth of cash at the end of this month.
Investment in Malabar for $95mil.
Market Cap $4.9bil
Minus $1.8bil (Cash and Malabar stake)
Paying $3.1billion for a company that could generate another $1.5bil of free cash over the next 6 months.
That means NHC will owe investors $1.5bil after this financial year. NHC may generate $1bil of free cash p/a from 23/24 thereafter (Assuming coal prices more than half).
This is all excluding new Acland.
Think ill ride out the volatility.
