re: Ann: Drilling Commenced at Melton Copper-... im told by someone who spoke to the company in toronto that they have drilled into the host rock and that "an exciting news flow can be expected in 2010". Dont know if this is just a company spin or if its based on the current drilling but might be worth speaking to MEU. volume over the last few days is interesting to say the least especially considering their current drilling campaign.

also, technical breakout for MOX on highest volume since 2006. looks like a breakaway gap and imo could/should run toward 20c mark from here. if this has anything to do with the drilling then should see MEU trace the performance of MOX given the jv. As far as the chart of MEU goes, more of a concern is the long upper shadows resulting from sell-off into the attempted run. would like to see it close above 12c and even better would be above 13c. if this happens then a good initial target for me is the gap at 16.5c. If the range from august/sept is to repeat then could head into the 20s. its formed a nice base between the 9c & 11c mark and the slow stochs on the weekly are in oversold and have crossed up.
