Yes, the received wisdom is that recessions are bad for retail, and worst for discretionary retail. However, there is no certainty of a recession, or clear evidence that in the event, DSK would be as severely affected as the current SP assumes.
What we do know, is that at the current SP dividend yield is 10%, and the P/E ratio is <7.
