Consolidation does have some usefulness in making a single pip movement more granular.
0.001 is 2.9% of 0.034
0.005 is 1.5% of 0.34.
it's one way of skipping past the 10c awkwardness, and does change the perception of the value of the shares.

as much as I'm disappointed about being down in the low cents price after jumping in back around the hype in 2016 and have some concerns it could just allow us to go even lower, in other ways it might seem good, or even just a non-event.

to follow that further, why not do a 100:1 and have us at $3.40 - that looks like a serious asset, and the pip gets even smaller. But maybe changes the perception about potential growth too much.
