The fund manager just doesn’t live up to the promise of “down side protection”. And it hasn’t captured the upside either. So what is the point?. I fell for the trap of sticking with a LIC longer than I should have in the hope that it would recover its discount to nta. That is my very expensive lesson from this investment. Anyway, now that I have sold the performance will probably improve ☺️
