Maybe, cause what do we know about who is running the show now.
Hey, get this, so on the 21st July I sent ASM an email. I had questions and alot of them. In total I sent through 29 of them, red flags starting to show on many fronts but I will not go into all them now.
So just over a week later, I get an email from Rowena, you know it was nice she replied and thank you but what I found most interesting was that of all the questions I put forward she touched on just one. I will not post my questions here, but I will post the response to that 1 question from 29. I will add she gave the disclaimer about commercial in confidence preventing her from responding to the other 28 questions. Make of it what you will.
'In reference to your question about `backdoors involved in Korean politics’ – I refer you to our Anti Bribery and Corruption Policy. (https://asm-au.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/ASM_Anti-Bribery-Corruption-Policy_24032022.pdf) ASM does not condone, or participate in bribery, corruption, or money laundering activities'.
Strange right, goes to the mindset of the individual, actually the prefrontal cortex, the part of the brain that runs thoughts and actions in accordance with internal goals. Basically, what the individual thinks about alot.
Well I did also make the recommendation in that email that ASM keep an eye on HC. A few weeks ago I had some fun with a post that was moderated as I touched on a similar topic. Okay, bait set and confirmation provided.
So I ask the same question, why did Gandel not go external with the recruitment for a new CEO for ASM. Why did the the previous CEO seem to fall off a cliff after the consortium funding deal, announcement wise and progress wise. If Rowena is such a great leader why then as it would appear in hindsight did she have little influence over DW during that time.. I mean David Woodall did not strike me as someone not open to executive discussions at least on toning down timelines and achievements. IMO, he may have even achieved what he set out to do given some real support, he was in fact trending very well.
You know, sorry to those guys I had a go on the other thread about not speculating on HC, but yeah just speculating not suggesting what could have happened with David, from the time he went quiet did he know he was a lame duck, did the Company for any period of time let him hand around until after the KMP was built as a gesture to him perhaps, with the expectation he would then resign. If so, not great for shareholders as alot of destruction to the market cap occurred during that time. Rowena then picks up the position, ASM talk her up, but she gets to run the show her way it would seem.
So @waievolution sell to the Chinese, why would they need to buy now when the new CEO has effectively shelved the project.
Just speculating people. All in my opinion. Not suggesting anything improper was done or known by anyone in ASM at all in this post, and do not make an investment decision on my ramblings please.
