The one difference I think between this and Resapp is that for RAP, there really only was one suitor looking at them. I think Pfizer saw the tech and was not thinking about it as a COVID application but how they could use the tech in some other part of their portfolio - so quick specific and limited.
Whereas in IMU's case, if IMU's tech is interesting to one big pharma player it will be interesting to many, given that it is dealing with one of the major global health issues of our time and has an enormous global market. Hence the competition element and FOMO will come into play if indeed we do see a big pharma come to the table.
