I think general argument is does the company spending money on a buy back vs put it into the operations and as Dan says increase shareholder value, put investors and the company as a whole in a better position.
At the same time is not doing a buy back preventing new sophisticated investors from dropping some coin into the company.
At some point something has to give as it's just in an infinite loop.
BRK could record a 50mil profit next quarter and I'm fairly certain unless that profit came from a land sale nobody would care.
